I fell in love with Priscilla’s paintings after seeing a small thumbnail of Juno (featured on Home page).
Priscilla is a keen swimmer (year round!) at the Brockwell Lido in south London, where her paintings begin – each one a celebration of light and people. Her underwater pictures, such as ‘Wednesdays’, often show the figures from the head down, “reminding the viewer that they can be peaceful even when it’s noisy up top”, and she is also fascinated with the patterns of light on the pool floor. Her work has become looser and more interpretive as her confidence has grown.
Priscilla’s watercolours, Paper Pools, are for sale in the Paul Smith gallery in Mayfair and she has recently had an oil painting pre-selected for the Mall Galleries autumn exhibition.
